Cochran Lake is located off Exit 291 on Interstate 95. There are a few camps on this lake with no public access. It is stocked with brown trout, brook trout and splake ( a cross between a speckled trout and a lake trout). Some trout are over 6 Lbs. We have one family of nesting loons that love to fish in front of our camps most mornings as do migrating ducks and geese in the fall. It is not uncommon to see moose, deer, bear, otter, beaver, eagles, ducks, herring and osprey also enjoying the lake.
